What is a Nullroute
Posted by Raimundas S., Last modified by Raimundas S. on 22 January 2018 12:12 PM
A Nullroute or null route is a route for your server IP address that goes to nowhere.
The reason for creating a null route for your IP address is to prevent your server from receiving or sending any data over the internet.
The Nullroute is activated for your server IP address if DDoS attacks are detected against your server.
Your server is temporarily disconnected from the internet in order to prevent Bandwidth over-usage.
Normal internet connectivity is restored for your server automatically after the DDoS attacks stop.
