Your system may be booted in read only mode, If your Cloud Server recently suffered a unexpected reboot or crash.
To resolve this problem, you will need to stop your server and use the "Rescue Mode" in your Host1Plus Client Area.
This will allow you to boot your server from the Linux live image.

Once your server is booted from the Linux live image, use the file system check tool "fsck" to scan and fix file system errors.
For example: fsck -f -y /dev/sda1 (where sda1 is your server partition).

As soon as the file system check is complete and errors are fixed, you may stop the server, turn off the "Rescue Mode" and start your server normally.
