If you do not have a license for cPanel, you will need to obtain one for your IP address. You should acquire your license before you attempt to install cPanel. You can obtain a license from cPanel Store or directly from our Client Area -> Services -> Add new tool section.

To begin your installation, simply paste the following command:

cd /home && curl -o latest -L https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest
If you are getting error where your hostname is not FQDN:

hostname server.mydomain.com
echo "server.mydomain.com" > /etc/hostname
After installation is complete, you will need to update local license file with command:

/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt

That’s it! Congratulations on installing cPanel on Linux! You may now use server root credentials to access WHM and proceed with the initial configuration.

WHM login URL: https://<IP_address>:2087

cPanel login URL: https://<IP_address>:2083

Webmail login URL: https://<IP_address>:2096
