Scheduled Maintenance Announcement – Frankfurt, Germany

Please be informed about a scheduled maintenance that our ISP TeliaSonera has planned next week to perform several important upgrades to the services. During the upgrade, they will be updating their software to improve service quality and sustainability.

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Maintenance window: 2016-09-29 UTC 00:00 until 2016-09-29 UTC 05:00 

Two 30 minute interruptions may occur, but it's possible that most of users will experience minor interruptions only or won't be affected at all.

Network issues with Macaw server

This is a notification that currently there is DDoS attack to macaw.host1plus.com server located in São Paulo, Brazil. Due to this, connection to Macaw server is affected.

We will provide more updates once the attack will be mitigated.

Update: 2016-09-22 03:52 UTC attack is mitigated but we still work on restoring normal services operations. 

Update: 2016-09-22 08:30 UTC issues have been solved and all services fully resumed.

Power failure in São Paulo (Falha na rede elétrica em São Paulo)

Please be informed that on 2016-09-06 UTC 15:00 our data center in São Paulo endured a power outage. We contacted our DC to investigate the issues.

Update 2016-09-06 UTC 17:00; According to Equinix BR an incident occurred in SP2 site phase 2, which is being investigated by infrastructure team. The impact is being evaluated and all responsible teams are already mobilized.

Update 2016-09-06 UTC 17:10; Equinix BR confirms that an isolated fire is experienced in the UPS module that delivers power to Phase II of SP2 IBX. Authorities are called in, firefighters already extinguishing and minimalizing the damage.

Update 2016-09-06 UTC 19:00; Official notice from Equinix BR: Equinix BR, experienced an isolated fire in the UPS module that delivers power to Phase II of SP2 IBX which is located in Room B. This has affected a subset of customers using a power feed in our SP2 data center. Power line B availability was compromised due to this incident. Additionally, power line A experienced two major events affecting it’s availability.

Update 2016-09-06 UTC 19:30; Further notice from Equinix BR: At the moment, Power line A operates with regular power feed, however with no UPS protection. Power line B remains unavailable. Equinix teams are working hard to recover the UPS protection of power line A as soon as possible.

Update 2016-09-06 UTC 20:00; Repair on Power Line B is being conducted as a parallel and independent activity.

Update 2016-09-06 UTC 22:07; According to Equinix BR, the main power failures are already resolved and they are finishing the last adjusts to recover the access to services.

Update 2016-09-06 UTC 22:30; Our administrators regained the access to DC. Data recovery work for affected environments began. Not all environments will be accessible instantly, thus please be patient.

Informamos que em 2016-09-06 UTC 15:00 nosso data center em São Paulo sofreu uma queda de energia. Nós entramos em contato com nosso data center para investigar os problemas.

Atualização 2016-09-06 UTC 17:00; De acordo com a Equinix BR ocorreu um incidente no site SP2 fase 2, que está sendo investigado pelo time de infraestrutura. O impacto está sendo avaliado e todas as equipes responsáveis já foram mobilizadas.

Atualização 2016-09-06 UTC 17:10; Equinix BR confirma que ocorreu um fogo isolado no módulo UBS que entrega energia para a Fase II de SP2 IBX. Autoridades foram acionadas, os bombeiros estão extinguindo e minimizando os danos.

Atualização 2016-09-06 UTC 19:00; Comunicado oficial da Equinix BR: Equinix BR passou por um fogo isolado no módulo UBS que fornece energia para a Fase 2 do IBX SP2 que está localizado na Sala B. Isso afetou uma parte dos clientes hospedados nesta fase que possuem fonte única de alimentação de energia. A disponibilidade da linha B de energia foi comprometida devido a este incidente. Além disso, a linha A de energia sofreu dois eventos menores que afetaram a sua disponibilidade.

Atualização 2016-09-06 UTC 19:30; Mais notícias da Equinix BR: No momento, a linha A opera com alimentação regular, sem proteção de UPS. A linha B encontra-se indisponível. As equipes Equinix estão trabalhando para recuperar a proteção UPS na linha A o mais rápido possível.

Atualização 2016-09-06 UTC 22:07; De acordo com Equinix BR, as principais falhas elétricas foram resolvidas e eles estão finalizando os últimos ajustes para recuperar o acesso aos serviços.

Atualização 2016-09-06 UTC 22:30; Nossos administradores recuperaram o acesso ao datacenter. A recuperação de dados para os ambientes afetados começou. Nem todos os ambientes estarão acessíveis instantaneamente, dessa forma, por favor seja paciente.
