PHP 5.3 as default version

[Update] Today the United States servers (lion.host1plus.com) and (jackal.host1plus.com) will be updated with PHP 5.3 version which will be set as default. [Update] PHP 5.3 has been set as default PHP version in the Netherlands (ox.host1plus.com) server. If there would be any problems with your websites, please contact our support in order to clear any errors. [Update] Today the Netherlands (ox.host1plus.com) server will be used as default PHP 5.3 version. All websites that are with PHP 5.2 handler will be replaced with 5.3 handler. We would like to announce that we are setting up PHP 5.3 as default version for all of the shared hosting accounts. If your website is not compatible with PHP 5.3 we will fix the issues, so that it could run on it. All other websites that are compatible with the PHP 5.3 will work as previously. suPHP removal from shared hosting servers and optimization notice

As per our completed tests, we have found that suPHP makes shared hosting servers "laggy" and the performance is not that great having other engines installed, also it is not supported anymore. This is a notice that we will start to remove suPHP engine from HOST1PLUS shared hosting servers and will make the necessary updates. By removing suPHP we also will perform and many other updates and those are:
Wolf server 20:00 (GMT), 27.09.2012 Ox server 20:00 (GMT), 04.10.2012 Bear server 20:00 (GMT), 08.10.2012 Falcon server 20:00 (GMT), 10.10.2012 Tiger server 20:00 (GMT), 15.10.2012 Everything should remain the same, only newer versions will be installed with faster php handlers including newer version of DirectAdmin. If you will see any errors or misconfigurations of your websites, please report to us by submitting the ticket and we fix this the issues immediately.

Softaculous application installer is available in any shared hosting server

Good news, we have installed Softaculous application installer which has over 250 ready to install applications in the list, that is why it is better then existing applications installer Installatron. You can use both of them as they are available in the server control panel, Softaculous is called - Softaculous Auto Installer and Installatron is called Installatron Applications Installer.
