General settings provides most basic options we can adjust for our WordPress website. Here we will find out what settins are there and how to change them.

First of all, navigate to "Settings>General" section in the left side menu. There we will see a list of settings that we can adjust according our needs.

As we see from the picture above, we can change website title, tagline, e-mail address and time settings. WordPress support all time zones and time formats, so we can adjust it depending on our location. When we have finished with changing general settings, we can save changes by clicking "Saves Changes" button.
