How to install SSL certificate on a domain using cPanel?

To install SSL certificate on a domain using cPanel, firstly, you need to create an SSL certificate.

Login to cPanel:

cPanel: https://your.vps.ip:2083 or http://your.vps.ip:2082

Enter your username and password. Click "OK".

Under "Web SSL/TLS" click "Generate a SSL Certificate and Signing Request".

You'll be asked to provide the following information:

Email address, where certificate will be send.

Host name

Country

State

City

Company Name

Company Division

Email address

Password

Now click create and certificate information will be shown. Copy the RSA private key output in a text file and store in a secure location. Important: if this information will be lost, you will not be able to use your certificate.

Under "SSL/TLS" click "SSL Manager".

In the CSRS column find the floppy disk icon of the appropriate certificate siging request. Certificate request information will appear.

Sign your certificate using request information through SSL signing authority. The signing authority will send a signed CRT an CA file.

SSL certificate succesfully created.

To install it, click "Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain" under "Web SSL/TLS".

Paste signed SSL certificate from the signing authority in the certificate input text field.

Paste the CA bundle from signing authority to certificate input text field.

Paste RSA private key information in the key input text field.

Confirm domain, user, IP address and click "Do it".
